i decided to create a series focusing on basic makeup application techniques. some future videos will include: how to apply mascara, lipstick, concealer and foundation.

I love liquid eyeliner for the same reason. I don't tend to look like Droopy Dog (eyes) when I'm wearing it ;)

I am not much of a "girlie-girl" and it seemed that what little girlie I did have in me had faded to the background since having my two little boys. Since finding your blog, I've been buying new make-up and trying new things. I'm excited to get myself ready in the morning instead of just hurrying through it! I think my husband has even noticed a difference!
ReplyDeleteI would love it if you could do a series on easy everyday up-do's. I can blow dry and I can curl (thanks for that post by the way) but I am clueless when it comes to doing anything other than that!

Melissa, thank you thank you for the compliments. i love getting feedback, especially when it is positive! haha. great idea for the easy everyday up-do's. i will definitely include that in the lineup of videos to come.
Thanks for being my makeup mentor and giving me the courage to wear liquid eyeliner. After that Thanksgiving when Charlotte came and taught me the Taylor Swift look, I wasn't sure if I could pull if off, but thanks to your encouragement, I haven't gone back! :)
