Why The Ads?

while you were sleeping Blushing Basics has made some changes. let me start from the beginning...

a few weeks ago i was contacted by Martha Stewart Editors with an invitation to join Martha's Circle. i was thrilled for several reasons:

1. holy cow i am on the radar of Martha Stewart Editors! dying.
2. i can actually make an income from this blog that i baby and devote 40+ hours a week to. yippee!
3. did i mention that i am on the MS radar?!

what does this mean for Blushing Basics? what this means is that you will now see a banner ad that runs at the top of my page as well as other ads integrated throughout the site. i will also be selected for campaigns where i will write/review/create tutorials in collaboration with Martha's Circle. there will also be potential and occasion where Blushing Basics will be featured on MarthaStewart.com. 

i appreciate your support and encouragement because without you (yes, you) Blushing Basics would never have made it this far.
