Skin Care Solutions: RoC Retinol Correxion
with winter in full force my skin needs some major TLC. it seems as though the dry, cold weather only makes my skin flakier, redder and every wrinkle becomes cavernous. while skin care is a problem for me, it is also a problem for my friends, and who do you think they go to for advice? with my experience working as an aesthetician (albeit 10 years ago but who's counting?!) i feel pretty comfortable doling out advice on all things skin related.
okay let's be honest, i like to dole out advice on anything, but skin care is something i actually do know something about.
my girlfriend was asking for what products to use in treating her skin to ward off fine lines and wrinkles in addition to the harsh winter weather. i immediately thought of RoC's RETINOL CORREXION Max Wrinkle Resurfacing System. it is just the right amount of retinol to not be too hard on your skin during these sensitive winter months but still effective in treating skin for fine lines, wrinkles and crow's feet.
retinol is a derivative of Vitamin A, which is one of the most effective anti-aging skin care agents. retinol is a stabilized form of Vitamin A and helps increase cellular turnover to improve the appearance of the skin. applications come in different doses but the RoC brand has provided you with a form of retinol that is effective without being too harsh. while it is an amazing ingredient, it is not safe to use if you are pregnant or nursing.
this isn't my first time recommending the RoC RETINOL CORREXION Max Wrinkle Resurfacing System. in fact, i wrote about it a year ago and you can read that review here. it is a product i really believe in and trust to be effective. i am also happy to announce that i am officially a RoC Ambassador and will be regularly reviewing their products and new launches here on Blushing Basics.
if you have any skin care questions, be sure to let me know! i am always happy to help.
