you know the phrase 'Champagne tastes on a beer budget'? that would describe my wardrobe to a T. i love getting nice handbags or shoes but don't have the budget for a lot of them so i try to get items that will last forever, never go out of style and will mix with all items of my wardrobe. clothes and clothing styles go in and out of fashion quickly so i justify my heftier purchases on shoes and handbags as an 'investment'.

one of my favorite dresses of the fall has been this chambray dress with blue edging by eShakti.com. a mix of modern and vintage (which is the best blend of all). switching out my accessories like some suede pumps and my mini Louis Vuitton clutch or punching it up with some 'Gatsby-esque' accessories from mark. or a go-to black clutch from D'Andrea handbags gives some mileage to that chambray frock.
