blushing basics: Our Holiday Weekend ft. Hanes Fleece

our Thanksgiving holiday weekend was definitely one to remember (you can follow me here on Instagram for a closer look!). jam packed with cooking, eating, cleaning, shopping, game playing, traveling and football game watching it seemed like we were constantly on the go. we have so much to be thankful for including our health, happiness and family. we decided to take some time out of our busy schedule to just relax and spend time alone as a family.

i don't know about you but my relaxing gear typically involves a hoodie, pants that stretch and a comfy boot. seeing that i do the majority of the shopping in our family my children's comfy clothes involve the same formula! thankfully we were sent a variety of hoodie tops by Hanes to take for a test drive during our chill time this holiday weekend.

the day began with a little holiday decorating of course! my girls love to help me out with this by rearranging any ornaments that are on the tree, redesigning any nativity sets or repositioning christmas lights. i love that they want to put their personal designing touches on our holiday decorations and i appreciate their creativity. my girls looked especially cute and cozy wearing their new Hanes fleeces.

next, we hopped in the car to catch a movie. after driving to multiple theaters just to find seating we settled in with our popcorn and sodas to enjoy Big Hero 6. it was an adorable movie and if you haven't seen it i would definitely recommend it. my son and daughters equally loved it and Tman and i had a good time as well.

our day ends the way it always does, with me catching up on some computer work ~~and online shopping~~ while the kids keep me company while reading, watching movies or playing games. i enjoy just being near them and having them close even while i work, it is a treat. i kept it cozy by layering a tee, plaid top and a Hanes fleece for extra warmth. thank you Hanes for making our day just a little more comfortable!
