Holiday Style With Marie Claire Magazine

it's no secret that i am a fan of fashion but what you may not know is where i get my outfit ideas from. i like having creative outlets and styling happens to be one of those outlets i am constantly exercising. i look for inspiration in magazines, television, movies, celebrities and of course Instagram. all of these things help spark creativity for me to create my own personal style. my purpose here on this blog is not to tell you how to do something, but to create ideas so that you can be inspired for your own personal style.

this month's Marie Claire magazine is packed with tips for dressing for the holidays. it gives great ideas for gifting, styling and how to look your best during the holidays. one of my favorite sections was the Luxe for Less. i love high fashion but i don't have the budget for it. the Luxe for Less gives you ideas on how to achieve the look without breaking the bank. inspired by this idea i put together one of my favorite holiday outfits to share with you guys.

first, i love all things sparkly and sequined pants have always been on my wishlist but have never been purchased because they are typically ridiculously expensive. i found this particular pair of sequined leggings that are much for affordable than their trouser counterpart and look no different if you ask me. i picked up a striped turtleneck last season and it is such a classic piece that it will last me several more. the key to shopping is to shop smarter, not harder ;) altogether these items give off a great party vibe with a luxe look without breaking my budget.

Marie Claire is one of my favorite places to go for refreshing new styles and ideas. this magazine dazzles, educates and inspires with its editorial content, fashion coverage and how-to guides. it keeps you up to date on the seasonal trends and helps inspire me to create my own beauty and fashion looks. it is kind of like that super stylish girlfriend who will tell you the truth about whether or not something works for your. we all need an honest voice like that in our lives.
