i recently had the opportunity to collaborate with online boutique Goodnight Macaroon to style some outfits for Blushing Basics. i love their selection of clothing, it ranges from casual to dressy and their product choices are contemporary and fit in well with current trends.
my first choice was this lace 'Candide' short sleeve black and white lace dress. it comes with a nude liner that is like a tank top and while the dress length and sleeve length worked well for me, i had to add a nude slip to lengthen the shoulder coverage and leg coverage. i have been wanted to give this lace style of dress a try for a long time and i love, love, love this dress. i wore it this weekend and received a lot of compliments on it. i feel like it adds a really chic element to your wardrobe without having to try very hard.
next i chose this 'Lilian' vertical stripes crew neck top. i liked how it adds something new to the white top with the sleeves. i love white tops for spring and summer but sometimes they all start looking alike. i like that this top looks different and stands out from its counterparts. you have so much versatility when styling it. you can do so much with accessories and this top.
last i chose this 'Selena' vintage style ribbon tie neck floral print dress. i liked the addition of the tie neck and the loose swing of the skirt. there are pops of royal blue flowers which is one of my favorite colors to accessorize with. i am looking forward to pairing it with these great new tassel earrings and my favorite strappy heels.
