we all love a good sale and the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is no exception. currently the running dates for the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale are July 14th through July 21st for early access and full public access begins this Friday on July 22 and runs until August 8th.
i personally love the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale as an opportunity to stock up on fall/winter essentials for myself and while i am not particularly picky about my children's clothing there are a few items i grab every year for them that are just too good to pass up.
my number one item is the Nordstrom Smartcare Dress Shirt for boys. this shirt is a must for my son who wears it to church every Sunday. it is the easiest, no hassle, white shirt. you can wash it in the washer, dry it in the dryer and pull it out in ready to wear (meaning NO WRINKLES) condition. i am not a big fan of ironing my children's clothing and this makes for the easiest Sunday's ever. plus, you can snag it for a great deal during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale.

the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale deals for girls are less appealing for me. my girls love leggings and i find no huge difference between a $7 pair from Target and a $25 pair for Nordstrom. my main savings for their fall/winter wardrobe during the #NSale come from two things: jackets and shoes.

school requires the girls wear close-toed shoes which means they live in slip-ons and tennies for the year (with the occasional UGG boot during the winter ;). these Tom's slip-ons are less than $20 during the sale and are a fantastic purchase for your kiddos. along with these shoes i have rounded up some of my favorite staples to pick up for the year below (all at startling good deals - promise!):
