Senior Pics
here are a few shots from the senior pic shoot i did with Kellie. the two cute girls were Kayla and McKenzie. it was such a fun day doing their pictures and i love working with teenagers. they're so spunky!

ok so this is just a comment to your whole blog in general up until now. i love it! pleeease keep video blogging. i think i'm makeup impaired but i've been trying new things for the past few days (awesome annie sent me over). it's so helpful to see someone actually put makeup on rather than just see pictures and explanations. so since i've been playing with darker colors and such...how about tips on what to do with smudges and uglies and when you overdo it. how to you fix it well without starting over? thanks kristie!
ReplyDeleteAllie, thanks for the comment! i have definitely had my share of smudges and uglies and i have a few fix it tips.
ReplyDelete#1 i always keep Qtips on hand so that I can touch up any small smudges. i just wet the end of the Qtip and that will typically wipe the offender away
#2 don't be afraid to layer. if you are using a dark color and have overdone it, just find a light color to layer over the top and that will typically mute the effect so that it is not so striking
#3 blend blend blend. i can't say it enough. by this i mean keep brushing over the color until it is the desired hue. if it is too bright, clean off your brush and go over it, then repeat. if it is not bright enough, add color to your brush and continue to apply.
