who needs the Naked Eye palette when you have Shu Uemura's Color Atelier? simply create your own Naked Eye palette from their wide range of colors. i am using the Shu Uemura Dark Brown, Medium Brown, Light Brown and Gold Shimmer.
this tutorial has a little more depth in its color than my typical step by step 1-2-3 eye makeup tutorials. however, adding the extra step gives your eye makeup a more professional look.
- apply Gold Shimmer to entire eyelid.
- using Dark Brown, concentrate color on the outer corner of the eyelid.
- blending Medium brown with Light brown, apply to the crease of your eyelid.
- finish by applying a second coat of Shimmer Gold to the center of the eyelid.
enjoy!

I love the way this looks but would love a picture of the look from an entire face standpoint. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteP.S. Which is cheaper--the Shue Uemura or the Naked shadows?
that's a great idea. i will try to do that for future eye tutorials. i feel silly using pictures of my full face, but if you would find it helpful...i'll get over it :)
Deletethe cost is approximately equal for the Shu Uemura Palette vs. the Naked palette. you do get more colors with the Naked palette but the colors in the Shu Uemura are a higher quality. pros and cons for each.
ps. i think you won the ebook a couple weeks ago. can you send me your e-mail so i can get it forwarded to you?
lovely eye look

ReplyDeleteThis is SO helpful with the diagrams in the pictures - I have such a hard time with eyeshadow - I never really understand now on earth to start with shading, but I'm going to bookmark this one and try it out today! I just got a gorgeous Becca palette with similar colors, though this one is really lovely- I might just need it too:)
