i am in love with fall. to me it is the perfect season. not too hot, not too cold and appropriate time and weather to pull out your cute jackets, booties and slacks. i am a jacket kind of girl, textures are my spirit animal and give me a faux leather finish any day of the week. putting together a style post to feature some of the fun items JCPenney has to offer for fall was like a dream.

as a mom, a wife and business owner i love casual wear but work wear is a necessity. being able to combine comfortable style with work appropriate options is the best of both worlds. pictured in today's post is a week of work wear that can be mixed and matched and styled many ways. included are a variety of jackets, handbags, skirts and tops that have details that take them to another level. all jewelry pictured are items from JCPenney.

 this colorful combination by Bisou Bisou was a fun outfit to style. the laser cut detail of the top and skirt give it a modern look and the color combination adds some fun. fit and length make it work appropriate and the mixed media faux leather jacket finishes the look. i can't get enough of this Liz Claiborne mini bucket bag, it looks good with everything!

last but not least is this Worthington skirt and shirt combination that left me with hearts in my eye. the laser cut detail of the faux leather skirt is gorgeous. i love the lattice pattern and that extra details makes it look much more expensive than it actually is. the long sleeve collared shirt is a staple top for any wardrobe but this snake embossed Lillian Dome satchel is the winner of the outfit. the colors make it a flexible handbag for many outfits and the hardware, the embossed detail and the shape make it a showstopper.
