Get Spring Ready With Curél®

as winter has come to a close and my postpartum body is slowly bouncing back i have been tackling a number of issues in an effort to get my body feeling as good as it did pre-pregnancy. i have been exercising, working on eating healthier, using products to improve the condition of my hair and battling the war of aging on my face. the one thing i haven't discussed much is dry skin. at the end of my pregnancy my skin was incredibly dry and i experienced issues i have previously not had a problem with: cracked heels, splitting skin on fingertips, flaking skin, bumps on my upper arms. these problems are all a result of dry skin and I have been working to get my skin back to its hydrated, best self.

one of the ways i have done that is with Curél Skincare. it is a new-ish style of body lotion that you apply immediately after your shower. and by immediately i mean before you even towel-dry. yes, it may seem a little weird but it has been proven that applying this lotion while your skin is still wet helps to lock in moisture even better than when you apply it to your skin once dry. getting used to applying your lotion while your skin is still wet can take a while. it is definitely not something you are used and you have to change your 'routine' a bit, but trust me, it is worth it!

i was asked to give this Curél Skincare lotion a try to see if i noticed any improvement and i can definitely say that i have. i am a firm believer in this method of lotion application (our Allergist has recommended a similar style of lotion-ing to help improve serious skin problems like Eczema) as it is really effective in sealing in moisture. it definitely has ended any issues of dry skin and i can't wait until summer when i can expose my soothed skin to the warmth of the outdoors!

one of my favorite things about holding our newborn baby Beau is feeling how soft and gentle his skin is. there is nothing more wonderful than snuggling with a newborn baby and feeling their soft skin. hopefully now when he snuggles with me he feels the exact same way!
