Great blog!!What about following each other?
ReplyDeleteI recently went off the pill and for the first time in my life, i got acne, like severe acne! I've tried everything and somethings have helped a bit but have also dried out my skin reallly badly too! I've heard good things about the clarisonic for helping acne and I would LOVE to try it and finally clear up my skin once and for all!
ReplyDeleteladyboarder9669@yahoo.com
This is an awesome giveaway! i would love to win it. I was lucky growing up that i didn't really have acne (except one big stress zit between my eyes every finals week. killer). Since I have become an adult, my skin is always breaking out! I hate it!
ReplyDeleteI have suffered with acne since my mid 20's (now early 30's). Never had acne has a teen. I recently stopped hormonal birth control to see if it helps.
ReplyDeleteI have a problem with super oily skin and some blackheads. I've been looking at Clarisonic to see if one would help my skin. I'd love to win one.
ReplyDeleteskessler5@yahoo.com
I always have mild acne that won't go away. I tried so many products including supplements. I have tried hydrating and drying product, but none worked for me so far. I have always been thinking to try Clarisonic. But since I am a student it is beyond my budget, so it would be awesome for me to win this giveaway.

Hi Kristie! I didn't have skin issues as a teen, but they've been plaguing me recently. I think it really depends on what I eat / stress too. Sigh! Thanks for organizing this giveaway!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fabulous giveaway Kristie!! Thank you for the opportunity! So I am now in my early 30s, and as a teen suffered from acne, but went throughout most of my twenties with clear-ish skin. But now I deal with it again! And here I thought I had grown out of it:( I do find that other factors such as hormones, diet, and most importantly skin care make a huuuge difference!! I have really been paying a lot more attention to my skin care regime - investing in really good products and a lot more natural products too - just wish I could go back to my 20 year old self and start younger! alas.... lol! xox janna
ReplyDeleteThanks for this opportunity! I just found you from twitter! :)
ReplyDeleteHonestly, my acne story is totally annoying. Growing up, even through puberty, I had ZERO acne. I thought I had skipped all that nonsense but nope, It all crept up on me when I turned 18! How weird, right? Since then (it's been about 5 years now), I've been struggling to keep in under control. I've even gone as far as giving up wearing make up for the past 4 years. I have used a Clarisonic (a friends) and it did work wonderfully but I just can't afford something like this. So thank you for being so generous!
Have a wonderful day!
I never had acne until my 30's, and now at 48 I still have the occasional cystic breakout. I've done medication, peels, special cleansers, and still occasionally suffer. I have heard WONDERFUL things about the Clarisonic! But, as a single mom of two kids, haven't been able to afford one. I would LOVE the opportunity to try this amazing product!
ReplyDeleteI agree with Lisa, in my 40's I still get cystic breakouts around my period.
ReplyDeleteI've had acne since I hit puberty years ago! It's so very annoying. Now in my early 30s I still get monthly breakouts and some cystic breakouts from time to time as well. I have oily AND dry skin, so a good mix and it's just awful. This would be so awesome to have!!
ReplyDeleteI keep hearing such wonderful reviews of the Clarisonic cleansing systems and I would love to try it myself. I have had acne since my 20's and I'm now middle age. I didn't have much trouble with acne as a teenager, but then adult acne set in and it has been a battle ever since. As most women my age are now concerned with fine lines and wrinkles, I am still dealing with acne and hyperpigmentation. The thought of finding a way to to age gracefully sounds awesome. Of course I hope to win, but I also wish everyone good luck in this contest and a big THANKS to Blushingbasics.com for sponsoring this giveaway!
ReplyDeleteWhat an amazing give-away. I've always wanted to buy myself one of these but could justify spending so much on one thing even if the rave reviews are right. I think it would really help my skin so much. Good Luck to everyone:)
ReplyDeleteSara xx
My acne story began when I was 14 and I'm not 28 and still battling it. I went on acutane (cleared up my skin but it was SCARY and I would never do it again). I have tried countless ointments and pills. My skin isn't terrible now, just a few breakouts here and there. I have been loving La Roche Posay & Murad. I have always wanted to buy one of these, but haven't been able to justify spending that much.
ReplyDeleteOh, fantastic giveaway! I have heard such amazing reviews about the Clarisonic but it is just so expensive for a student budget! I have had acne since I was 11 and I have literally tried everything and nothing works. I eat incredibly healthily, exercise, drink 2 litres of water a day, have a good skincare routine and my skin is still awful! Black heads, white heads, under-the-skin spots - you name it, I have it! My skin is the thing I'm most insecure about - I won't meet with friends when my skin is particularly bad, and it brings me to tears. So many people have raved about the Clarisonic for treating Acne so hopefully I will be lucky enough to be able to try it! Thank you so much lovely for giving me some hope to become acne-free! :) xxx
ReplyDeleteI had horrible acne as a teen. My face, neck, chest and back. It was everywhere. I tried EVERYTHING, and ended up going on accutane for about 9 months. After the Accutane my skin definitely cleared, but I still had fairly bad flare ups every few weeks. Even in college my skin was acne proned. Everything I ate (sugar, grease, carbs and alcohol) seemed to have a strong effect on my skin. THANKFULLY by the time I graduated my acne seemed to be under control with the exception of a few hormonal breakouts during that oh so fun time of the month. Not so thankfully, my skin has become an oil slick. break outs aren't much of an issue, though I do still get them every now and again. But omg the oil. I've tried everything I can think of, and have just come to the realization that I'm completely having to take off foundation and re-apply around 3 pm for these 18 hour days I've been having. I would love to get a clarisonic, but just haven't been able to justify the investment!
ReplyDeleteI've had acne forever, it seems. I always longed for the days when I was older (because women in their mid-late 30's don't have acne, right?). Now that I am here I see I was delusional. Thankfully, it has tamed down a bit, but about once a month (can't imagine when) I have serious cystic breakouts.
ReplyDeleteI've had acne since I was 15, now I'm 27. When I was 19 I took accutane, it works great for a few years. Then I had two kids and it got a little worse. Last year I went through two rounds of chemo and my skin was horrible! It's better now, but I always have breakouts, I don't remember the last time it was totally clear. I would love to try this product!
ReplyDeletehii thanks for your lovely comment, you have beautiful pictures! i'm following you on gfc now, please visit me and see if you want to follow? :) thanks!
ReplyDeletebtw this is an awesome giveaway! i use the clarisonic mia too and it does wonders!

thanks for following me gorgeous!
DeleteI have been quite lucky to not suffer from acne a majority of my life... but about a year ago my skin flared up and I basically had a plant growing on my face :( I mostly get it due to hormones and such, (around that time of the month...) but I do have a problem with redness, scaring, and other unwanted pigmentation on my face. I was hoping that the clarisonic would help clear it up....
ReplyDeleteAwesome giveaway!

I have battled acne constantly for over 12 years now! I am 32 with 4 kiddos and I feel like I have never looked uglier in my life! I have had 6 chemical peels and have tried every cream you can imagine from drugstore to high quality expensive stuff. I have wanted to try the clarisonic for a while now but was afraid it would be too abrasive. I am so excited that you are trying it out first!!! I hope you love it and that I win and that it helps me!!
ReplyDeleteI've actually been rather lucky regarding acne breakouts, but when I get a zit it sure is a dozy!
ReplyDeleteI've wanted one of these for ages, I just haven't been able to afford it :(
ReplyDeleteGoing off the pill makes my acne awful!!
ReplyDeleteI have wanted a Clarisonic for so long!

My husband is the one with acne, but I want this for me! so awesome, I wanna win!
ReplyDeleteI use tend to get acne on my nose. I know so horrible. I have tried everything but nothing seems to work. I have heard of this but did not get the chance to get it. Hopefully this is my solution. Thanks. My email is thisisliferemix@gmail.com
ReplyDeleteI've battled acne my entire life. It's really affected my confidence, and even caused me to skip my prom in highschool, due to a break-out. Years later, I've spent tons of money on foundations, concealers, skincare lotions potions and creams, all with varying results. Now that I'm pregnant with my 2nd child, I don't want to use chemicals and additives on my skin, found in many skincare products. I'd love a Natural, easy, pampering way to keep my skin healthy and clear. I would love to stay beautiful with Clarisonic!
ReplyDeleteElle Briarson
I'm an aesthetician, so I'm no stranger to skin care. But, recently after having my 4th child, I can't seem to get my skin balanced. I've been working with essential oils and have been having the most success. But this would really give my skin a great deep cleaning!
ReplyDeleteI mostly get acne on my chin, and forehead. My skin could definitely stand a good scrub!
ReplyDeleteI'm would love to try the new Aria!
ReplyDeleteSadly to say but i am suffering from acne all my life (now i am 30). I thought it will be over already but no luck here. I am trying different things and sometimes they work for a while and then it starts again. I would love to try new Clarisonic Mia and see if it can make a difference. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteI never had any problems with my skin until my 30s, and now I'm working on aging AND breakouts. Fun, right? For the past year I've been using Retin-A, which I've been pretty happy with, but this also makes my skin more sensitive and dry. I also find as I get older that my skin scars more easily and that it takes longer for dark spots to fade after a breakout. I'm thinking some exfoliation and deeper cleaning with a Clarisonic might help on both fronts.
ReplyDeleteHi! I really like your blog! I follow you! I'll be very glad if you like my blog and you will follow me! good day!
ReplyDeleteI have been having acne problems for such a long time now! I have used multiple products but since I have dry skin, they don't work to well. I have also been using a prescription cream but that hasn't been helping. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteI have battled acne my whole adult life, beginning in college. I've tried prescriptions, every over the counter product, and home remedies. I've wanted to give the Clarisonic a try, but can't seem to bring myself to spend the money on it...
ReplyDeleteI didn't really have an issue with acne, but recently my skin has become really oily, prone to breakouts, and unmanageable. It's a nightmare! My normal cleanser doesn't work as well as it used to and I really need something like the Clarisonic to get into my pores & clean it out! Thanks for the giveaway! xoxo

pregnancy... nuf said ;-)
ReplyDeleteluv ya!
I never had to deal with acne until my early 20s. On my wedding day, my acne was the worst I've ever had. Photoshop was my best friend for my wedding pictures. I'm trying to get it under control and keep it at bay, but it's a never-ending process that takes a lot of diligence. I've always been interested in trying the Clarisonic, but have never had the money to spend on it.
ReplyDeleteI would love this, I have always wanted to try, but just couldn't pull the trigger!! Since I had my kids I started getting "adult" acne? I break out on my chin pretty much twice a month - ovulation time and aunt flow time. It completely sucks!! I have tried a few different cleansers and many herbal and home remedies - nothing seems to work. Hopefully the Clarisonic can??!!!
ReplyDeleteI never win, but I will share my story. As a teen, as you know I was overweight. To make it worse I had pimples galore and still do. Youd think with all the weight I would feel beautiful, truth is sometimes my acne hurts so bad when it does appear that I feel horrible about myself. I am so afraid to touch my face, drink anything with sugars, or even eat sweets. I just cried today because my skin looks HORRIBLE without makeup. Sometimes my skin glows, but days , in fact these past few weeks have been horrible :(
ReplyDeleteGREAT giveaway. I love Clarisonic.
ReplyDeleteMy acne story is that I NEVER had acne problems until after my first pregnancy. All of a sudden, a year after giving birth, my skin broke out like mad. Then, a few months later, when I got pregnant again, all the acne went away. Very frustrating. We'll see what happens after baby no. 2.

I get really bad hormonal acne from time to time! I would love to try out the Clarisonic Mia 2! -Justina
ReplyDeleteI am extremely oily and it's always breaking me out.. I try to find products that gently clean, yet are effective in keeping my skin nice and clean. Too harsh and it dries my skin out, but yet I am still oily if that makes sense. It is very frustrating!
ReplyDeletesellcrystal2[at]gmail[dot]com
I have had fairly clear skin since my teen years (I'm a whopping 32 now, lol!) but recently due to an accident I had to go on some medication that my skin is NOT agreeing with! All the sudden I have this embarrassingly bad looking skin and my normal skincare products (Clinique) are currently too harsh, I've found argan oil to be the most calming moisturizer EVER though, YAY :) and I'm assuming my skin will return to normal when I am healed and off my meds! dustbunni98@yahoo.com
ReplyDeletei was lucky as a teenager i didn't have a serious problem.....but i suffered through it with my youngest son.....i remember how bad he got it and even i felt embarresed but he finally grew out of it took many yrs and trying all different things......some worked some not i think sometimes you just have to let nature take its course.
ReplyDeleteThis is such an amazing giveaway, i have wanted a Clarisonic for soooo long but they are just too expenisve. I suffer quite badly from acne but it is mainly cysts on my nose and chin with lots of blackheads too. I have heard the Clarisonic works wonders for this sort of thing and i am desperate to try it. Very excited - thank you so much for giving it away x
ReplyDeleteI am still a teenager at the moment lol and i didnt believe people when they said they had tried everything to get rid of their acne until i got acne, my skin is super strange and my friend let me try the clarisonic wand and the next day my skin was amazing and i'd just love to own my own
ReplyDeleteI developed cystic acne as a young teenager and was prescribed oral acne medication that unfortunately made no difference in the tone and texture of my skin. I then tried all the latest gimmicks, including "shown on TV" skincare brands, but alas nothing worked. It was only when I realized that my acne wasn't just due to genetics (or bad luck, as I thought), but also flared up when I ate certain foods or used skincare products that contained certain ingredients, that I knew I could get more of a handle on it. I would love to use the Clarisonic to take my skin to that next level, so I appreciate the opportunity to win. XO

Wow! This is amazing! I still suffer with acne on my cheeks. As much as I would love this, I would LOVE to be able to give this to my 17 year old daughter who has suffered with acne since she was 13. We have tried literally everything. She is starting at the "Y" in a week and what a great surprise this would be for her. Thanks for all the great giveaways, tips and and advice. Keep it coming!
ReplyDeleteSomehow I made it through my teenage years with clear skin, so I thought I'd dodged the acne bullet for life. Nope! Suddenly at 22, I started suffered major breakouts and it seemed like every acne product made them worse. Prescription-strength products left my skin dry, itchy and peeling. It's been a few years and I'm still looking for a solution! Maybe a Clarisonic and its acne regimen would help?
ReplyDeletetessa.kate1[at]gmail[dot]com
I was diagnosed with MS 9 months ago. With that came papulopustular rosacea - or little puss filled pockets on my face. I have NEVER had skin problems and it's driving me NUTS!
ReplyDeletei don't know how to get rid of blackheads! i have asked professionals, tried various and expensive products to no avail. could this help?
ReplyDeleteWhat a great giveaway! I don't breakout as much as when I was a teenager, but still do occasionally during that time of the month. Thank you for the chance!

I have the dreaded adult acne. I also have stress induced acne on my chin. It is so annoying, I am doing everything to get rid of it or get it under control. Hopefully I can win and the Clarisonic can help. pircy23 at hotmail.com
ReplyDeleteI've always had some issues with breakouts - - just seems to go with the oily, big pore territory. In high school and college, I thought my little pimples were a nightmare, but I've actually had SO MUCH more trouble with acne in my adult years.
ReplyDeleteI get large, sore acne on my cheeks and along my jawline. They are painful and dark and just plain ugly. By the time one simmers down and starts becoming lighter, another two have sprung up. It's damaging to my self esteem but even more so to my skin as they scar up my face. :( Super frustrating. I would love to try this Clarisonic product and see if it helps.
After I went off the pill a few years ago, I found out I had PCOS. Turns out, cruddy skin is one of the side effects. Yay :( As an aside, I feel a bit of camaraderie with the other ladies here in the comments. We're all beautiful anyway, ladies! Silly pimples or not :)
ReplyDeleteI've been dealing with adult stress acne on my chin. It's miserable! Thanks for the great giveaway!
ReplyDeleteHi there! I get random breakouts still once a month as a 29 year old. I'd love to try these products out!!!
ReplyDeleteHi! I didn't start breaking out until I got into my thirties. Now in my early forties I still get adult breakouts along my chin and jawline. So not fair having to deal with up and coming laughlines and breakouts! ha!
ReplyDeleteGreat giveaway!
I love your blog! I have had acne since the 6th grade!! Yes, 6th grade....15 years later and I still have it. I have fought this battle since age 12....I am now 35. I have spents what feels like millions on every product out there.....countless doctor appointments....tons of prescriptions. Now i get to deal with acne AND wrinkles!! UGH!So frustrating! Pick me! Pick me! Thanks for a great giveaway! :)
ReplyDeleteI skipped acne during adolescence but then I went away to college & it started up. I've had it ever since...I'm now 31. I see a dermatologist (after I gave up on OTC treatments) and my acne is under control EXCEPT for a week every month.
ReplyDeleteI'm another one of your - got into the 30's and acre decided to show up!! serrrriously annoying!!! awesome giveaway!! :)
ReplyDeleteI didn't have terrible skin in high school--just normal teenage breakouts here and there. In 2005 I got married, and in 2007 I got pregnant with my first baby. I've been blessed to be pregnant for part of every calendar year since. Three babies later, my skin has suffered from the up and downs of hormones. I definitely need a new skin care regime, but other things have taken priority.
ReplyDeleteThanks for a great giveaway!
Thank you so much for the chance! I had terrible breakouts as a teen which subsided until my 30's. Now I get those hormonal breakouts, just lovely :) I've heard fabulous things about the Clarisonic, would love to try it!
ReplyDeleteThis is a great give away!I am a senior in high school and have been dealing with severe acne since 7th grade. I went through two rounds of acutane and thankfully it helped with the severety of my acne, but sadly I can't remember what my face looks like without acne. With college coming up, I am really hoping to clear up my skin and try out this amazing product before I leave. If I won this giveaway it would mean so much! I have been looking at Clarisonic's product for quite some time now but at the moment my mother is out of a job and we can't really afford this amazing product. I have tried all sorts of topicals and perscriptions from my dermatoligist but nothing seems to be working. My acne isn't just a once a month thing, it is a daily burden that I deal with everyday... Thanks so much!
ReplyDeletemy email is maddierodgers@yahoo.com
DeleteI have had acne problems off and on since my teens. While getting facials to keep my acne at bay, I got a terrible infection and had to go on Acutane. While some I have heard that go on Acutane never get acne again, I was not so lucky. I am in my late 30s and still battling it, I use Retin A which is so harsh and drying. I wish there was a better way to not have teenage skin at my age. Now I also get these really huge painful nodules that build up under the skin and look horrible and swollen. I never had this type of skin when I was younger.
ReplyDeleteGreat giveaway!

Great giveaway. I have acnea since I was teenager and I still have few spots. I hope this Clarsonic will help me to get off of my blackheads and my acneea, and leave my skin face clean and soft.

I had the clearest skin of my life right after my daughter was born two and a half years ago...the best three months! :) Then, the bumpy patches on my forehead and jawline came back. It doesn't seem to matter what I use, they always come back. So frustrating!

ReplyDeleteAcne at 31 is no joke. I somehow managed to avoid it during my teen years but nature seems to think it will be funny to do this to me in my adult years! How embarrassing . I have the most sensitive skin now more than ever and it's driving me nuts this Clarisonic sounds revolutionary
Imnotarunner at gmail dot com
I used to have bad deep cyst acne on one side of my face only. I finally realized that when I'd watch tv or get on the computer, I'd lay my hand on my face. Since consciously deciding to stop, I no longer get the cyst acne!
ReplyDeleteBlah, i hate my skin. I have always had problems. I have combination skin so the oily areas have blackheads, the dry areas have red pimples. I have tried every skin-care regimen possible and have had crappy results. I really want to try the clarisonic!
ReplyDeleteMy daughter had limited acne, but more so at college age. The Clarisonic sounds like it would fit into a more adult acne routine with ease. Thanks for the review and the opportunity
ReplyDeleteThis comment has been removed by the author.
ReplyDeleteI still have acne on my nose those small white things comes from your skin when u press your nose I hate it I have tried patches but doesn't work. and also have on my chin that also does not disappear even after facials , my cleansing routine and drinking lots of water
ReplyDeleteFunny thing is I didn't have much acne as a teenager. But when I became an adult I started getting it. Over the years I have tried many different treatments and the acne has come and gone. Now that I am in the mature stages of my life, I can't seem to find anything that can tame the acne. I need anti- aging products but they make my skin break out.....very frustrating!
ReplyDeleteI struggled with bad acne for over 15 years... finally birth control helps. But using a good cleanser helps and I am just DYING to get a clarisonic! I'm in my 30's now and need to think about not only my super oily skin but age-defying products as well! My cousin works in skin care and told me about the clarisonic and how much it has helped her and I NEED one soooo super bad! Teenage acne is really bad, but adult acne is just as bad if not more frustrating!
ReplyDeleteI had acne near my hairline, although I kept the area very clean, rinsed shampoo out very well, etc. One important thing I learned was to keep my hands off my face. Luckily, bangs covered it up. A friend of mine and I want a Clairsonic.....like a LOT!!!!
ReplyDeleteI have had acne and oily skin since I was 12 and I'm now in my 40s. My skin is very fair and gets so red when there are breakouts. In high school and college I took antibiotics and used topical meds. Nothing worked great. Clarisonic could really help with blocked pores etc. The bright side to my story is that I'm a mom of two teens who rarely break out. Yay!
ReplyDeletevac 924 at gmail dot com
The only time I got a zit was just before school pictures. I have super oily skin so I'm surprised that I don't get acne but maybe this will help with the oily skin.
ReplyDeleteI have struggled with adult acne for some time now and while the Murad cleanser has really helped, I still struggle with a major blackhead problem. It's my dream to own a Clarisonic!
ReplyDeleteAcne has been the bane of my existence for the last 8 years. I still have terrible acne scarring (both pitting and dark spots) from the experience. Going on birth control was pretty much the only thing that affected it the most though I still get breakouts from time to time, never the cystic acne that it used to be.
ReplyDeleteI am 38 and I still get acne! I've tried every treatment-prescription and non, and i either don't get good results-and/or I dry out and get red blotches. I would love, love, love to have a Clarisonic, I've heard about some amazing results, and for once I would like to be able to leave the house without a ton of makeup on, especially in the summer. I have fair skin, so I scar easily, and it takes months for the marks to fade, and some never have. Great giveaway-thank you so much! barkergirl33(at)yahoo.com
ReplyDeleteThanks for such an amazing giveaway. Personally, I am rather fortunate that I don't have cystic acne. Rather, I have major issues with blackheads as well as acne along the hairline and chin. It's like the perimeters of my face get hit the hardest.
ReplyDeleteaestheticla @ g mail dot com
I have a problem with super oily skin and some blackheads. I would love to win the Clarisonic to see if it helps!
ReplyDeleteI don't get acne but man sometimes I get these blemishes that pop up and it bothers me to no end! Would love to get this!!
ReplyDeleteMy battles with acne are not extremely bad but I do get a lot of pimples that are blind. They are deep in my skin and so painful! I hate them! My skin is combination. After I wash my face it feels so tight and dry but throughout the day I get very shiny. It is very annoying! Love your blog!
ReplyDeleteI have always been a little more on the quite side, but having very bad acne has just made it worse. My skin is very sensitive and in pain, winning the Clarisoinic would help so much and give me that extra boost of confidence I need.

I had acne as a teenager and now that I'm older I realize it was because I didn't take very good care of my skin :( I simply didn't know what I was doing. Now I know better though and it only comes back if I'm stressed.
ReplyDeletekysbelrs@gmail.com
I've had lots of issues with acne growing up, there was never a time my skin was clear, and I still have acne to this day! I would love to find a product that works!

I have owned a clarisonic for over 3 years and never a day goes by that I don't use it. Since the day I first started, my skin has undergone an unbelievable transformation, the likes of which few could imagine. My fine lines are gone, my skin is healthy, taut and glowing. Although I have been blessed with good skin, knock on wood,I could not have maintained and improved the quality of my skin if not but for my best friend, my clarisonic.
ReplyDeleteMy best friend's son suffers terribly from acne. Unfortunately, she can't afford such a luxury item and it breaks my heart because I know this clarisonic would help his skin condition immensely. If I could afford to purchase this on my own as a gift for this teenage boy, I would gladly do so. But I can't. If was to win one in this giveaway, this gift would be a gift to her son, a true blessing from the Angels, to this wonderful and beautiful teenager. Clearing up his acne would give him self confidence and his inner beauty would be able to radiate from within, so the rest of the world can see just how special and beautiful he really is. Thank you for this very generous giveaway and good luck to all!

I never had problems with acne until I reached my thirties. Then I had problems on a monthly basis or if I was stressed. After being told after a facial that my makeup (MAC) was preventing my skin from "breathing", I switched to Bare Minerals and also changed my cleaning products. My skin is now healthy, beautiful, and best of all, mostly acne free! Even during times of stress and those monthly hormonal influxes.
ReplyDeleteI'd love to win this product to see if I can get my skin 99% acne free. Thanks!

I had really bad acne on my forehead nearing the senior year of high school to my first and second year of university. I am still struggling with keeping my skin clean and unclogging my pores to prevent breakouts.

I've got oily, congested skin that needs deep cleaning on a regular basis. I fight blackheads on a regular basis as well as occasional cystic acne, and have been for over 30 years. I recently borrowed my mother's Mia to try and have fallen in love. Whether or not I win this giveaway, I'll be getting a Mia in the near future, somehow, some way:-) I can tell a difference in my pore size after only 1 week of use - love it!
ReplyDeleteI have acne now that I'm older and the oil really clogs the pores. Regular cleaning with soap and water doesn't get rid of it.
ReplyDeleteI have the original Clarisonic that I bought when it first came out. I use it everyday and know its helped with my oily skin in so many positive ways. It would be wonderful to have the newest in Clarisonic. :)
ReplyDeleteOops I'm sorry I forgot to give you my email if I win! :)

I have always had acne problems and I will still be breaking out when I am 95!
ReplyDeleteI am still suffering from acne and I am 31. I was on accutane 4 times growing up, anything perscription from the dermatologist and everything over the counter. NOTHING ever worked for me and still doesn't. It made me very shy and insecure. I would love to have beautiful skin for once. amypugmire@live.com
ReplyDeleteMy only skin issue is that I tend to breakout rigt before my period. Thanks for the giveaway.

I had bad acne in my teen years and then only a little here and there. Now that I've gotten older, thanks to hormones I get acne along my jawline :(
ReplyDeleteEven though I am middle age, my skin still has breakouts and this is one thing I haven't tried that could help.

I would love to have good skin, I have tried 100 products, but most of them dry out my skin or give me spots. I would be so happy to win this prize,it would help my skin to look more radiant and healthy.Thank you for this wonderful giveaway.

I personally don't have acne, but my tween daughter is starting to get breakouts. This would be wonderful for her to get started on a clear skin regiment ! She is currently using proactive, but I don't feel it doing a good job. Would love for her to be able to try this!
ReplyDeleteI have struggled with acne since I was a teenager, I am getting ready to turn 36 in a week and I still have acne like a teenager. I have tried everything from ProActive, Murad, Dermalogica, gone to see two different dermatologist and still I have acne. I would love to try the Clarisonic Acne Clarifying collection, maybe it would be the answer to my acne issues. Thank you for the giveaway.
ReplyDeleteI constantly have acne that stresses me out leading to more breakouts. I would love to try the clarisonic!
ReplyDeleteI've had acne all my life. It's not as bad as some I've seen, but we all want flawless skin, right? One minute my face will be fine. Literally, within minutes, I have volcanoes all over. Of course they take longer to go away than they do to pop up. I'm currently pregnant, and it's worse than ever. They are bigger and pop up all over the place. I've heard of Clarisonic, of course, but it's a bit expensive for me at the moment. I'd love to win to try it out, and because I can't buy one now. Thanks for the opportunity!!!

I would love to win this for my 18 year old daughter who has some acne. I think it would give her the push to take care of her skin the way she should.

ReplyDeleteI've had acne off and on (mostly on) since I was 12. Being a middle-aged lady of 45, that's a lot of pimples. I think it's time I got a break from the blasted things! Thanks for the giveaway! kittylitter1 at gmail dot com
ReplyDeleteI have problems with oily skin and occasional break outs. The Clarisonic would be perfect to slough off dry, old skin and leave a fresh face and hopefully clear up some breakouts and keep them from occurring.
ReplyDeleteI suffer from adult acne...My hormones and peri-menopause/menopause really
ReplyDeletecause oiliness and outbreaks! I actually have more problematic skin now,

After finding the perfect cleansing and prevention routine, I had FINALLY gotten my acne under control. And then two years ago – BOOM – literally! I was struck in the head and my entire world changed... So did my skin. Despite every treatment possible, including Retin-A I have yet to attain a single week of clear skin. And to top it off, I now have acne on my back, neck and chest too! I had no idea when I was diagnosed last summer with a TBI that I would have to deal with endless, nearly impossible to treat, daily acne in addition to the daily headaches and vertigo. For once, a little extra help would be nice! Thanks for the giveaway!

ReplyDeleteI have heard such great things about Clarisonic and I would love to use one... I don't currently have acne issues, but I did have pretty severe acne as a teen and now my 17-yo daughter is going through something similar... I would love to win this for her... Thanks for the giveaway, Blushing Basics!
ReplyDeleteI have struggled with acne for most of my life and I still have to work very hard at controlling it. My skin is a lot better now, but I still have the scars, enlarged pores, and blackheads that will never truly go away. I also get breakouts here and there, but it is no where like it used to be. I had cystic acne all over and the kids were so mean for making fun of me! This one guy in high school called me cherry face. I felt so ugly and horrible about myself. I never wore foundation until post-high school. My parents never taught me or did anything to help me with my acne. I had to learn it all on my own and discovered pro-active through TV ads, which taught me about skincare regimes and also helped a lot with my acne. I don't use it anymore, but it had really helped me through my troubled youth.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great giveaway! I have wanted to try a Clarisonic for ages, but haven't made the investment. I have enlarged pores, blackheads, etc. and nothing is truly helping the situation. I've read many awesome things about Clarisonic, and tons of folks have testified that it's amazing. I'd love the opportunity to put this facial cleansing tool to the test! :)
ReplyDeleteI would love to have a Clarisonic, but the price always gets me. My skin is oily and keeping it acne free is a challenge. I've tried pretty much everything, and now I have a routine that keeps breakouts to a minimum, but I'd love to add a Clarisonic. My #1 rule is cleanse, cleanse, cleanse, and from what I hear they are a great tool for getting your face 100% clean.
ReplyDeleteI'll be honest, I almost never get a pimple... but I do get blackheads, ugh. If I won this, I'd be most likely to use it on my blackheads and on my boyfriend's back! He gets a lot of painful acne on his back and I know he'd love it if I use this on him :-)
ReplyDeleteWhat a great giveaway! My story - adult acne which is worse than anything I ever had as a teenager.

I have very dry skin and seem to get acne here and there. But ever since I went on a new birtch control pill, it has become more common. I'm also getting redness I didn't used to get. I'm assuming that's also due to the pill. BUT, since changing birth control pills, I am getting less headaches (which is the reason I switched in the first place) so it's a mtter of the less of two evils.
ReplyDeletei was self conscious and insecure in high school because of my acne. I would love to feel confident for once in my life. amypugmire@live.com
ReplyDeleteUgh!! I hate the fact that now that I have entered my 30s I get more acne than as a teenager! My skin is now patchy and as soon as one massive zit clears up on my chin, three more replace it. Acne and wrinkles is so not fair!
ReplyDeletelove it!
ReplyDeletemy hubby could really use this.
I have had mild acne since I was 12 years old. Now at 15 years old, it's getting worse and nothing seems to help! I have been to three dermatologists and nothing they prescribed has helped, they have only succeeded in making my face peel and dry out. It is embarrassing to be a teen girl with acne, especially when I have to wear makeup all of the time. I have heard so much about Clarisonic and I have been wanting to try it but cannot afford it at this time. It would be a dream come true to win this give-away!
ReplyDeleteI had nearly perfect skin until a few years ago. It is still fairly clear, but I do have small pimples that never seem to go away. And I've been getting MONSTER pimples every few months that don't go away completely for about a month. Then it takes months to get rid of the scar. I would LOVE to try this product that I've heard rave reviews about! I'm hoping it would help!
ReplyDeletejbonnieb1@yahoo.com
i high school i hardly had any acne, then came college and it just left so many dark marks on my face. I started using BE's Bare Minerals foundation to cover up, then near the end of college I had to switch to liquid for heavier coverage. I would use lightening/ Brightening products like Shesiedo, and Lemon juice but my acne got worst. Even using acne cleansers like Murad and Clean&Clear just didn't help. They dried my skin and made my break out worst.
ReplyDeleteNow I'm in my late 20s and I started using Retinol Products, It's helping my skin a bit with lighting scars and decreasing acne, but i still get some. I realize I can't use exfoliating products like scrubs or glycolic or Salicylic acid on my face. But I know I need a deep cleanser or something to get the grim and oil out. I hope I win so i can try one of these electric brushes! If I win please contact me thru twitter and I'll send my email. @Minimisfit
Thanks for the chance to win!
I started having acne once I started having kids and now its a constant battle. I am hoping I win!!

ReplyDeleteI had really bad acne during my first pregnancy. What I would've given to have had a Clarisonic then!

ReplyDeleteIn my 30's I still get cystic breakouts around my period.

I try to keep my skin as clean as possible, but I'm experiencing adult acne and it's probably stress hormone related. From what I've read this type of cleansing could be the solution to my problem. Hope I win
ReplyDeleteThank you for this lovely giveaway! I have had acne for the last year which I mostly get around my chin but sometimes on my nose. The only reason I can come to is that I'm on quite a lot of medication due health related problems as I try really hard to keep my skin clean but I haven't had clear skin at any point over the last 3 . I've wanted to buy a clarisonic but just can't afford one right now. Liv x x x
ReplyDeleteI have yet to find anything that works completely! I wish random small break outs would just go away. Though, Lush's vanishing cream seems to be the best moisturizer for not causing breakouts.
ReplyDeleteI've always had acne, especially hormonally. When I was a teenager I was put on lots of crazy creams and medicines to battle it...and none of them worked. I'm almost 26 and still have acne all over my face :( It's definitely a subject of stress for me! I feel like I"ve tried EVERYTHING at this point!
ReplyDeletebeautyoutloudblog @ gmail.com
I didn't deal with acne at all as a teenager, but now as an adult I have it around my chin only. It drives me crazy, and I'm pretty sure it's hormonal. I'd love to win a clarisonic. I've been debating on getting one. I've only heard great reviews.
ReplyDeleteI didn't have any acne till i was in my late teens, I had really bad skin until i used proactive.

ReplyDeleteI've been suffering from it since starting to have children. I get them all over and it hasn't eased up.
ReplyDeleteI didn't had probs with acne as a teen but now in my 30 it is ruining my sensitive skin with dark spots, blemishes and scars, Sadly I'm allergic to most acne treatments OTC an prescription, right now my only weapon against acne is watch my diet, keep my stress levels low and my skin breathing this product is amazing thank you for the giveaway
ReplyDeleteI never had acne very badly as a teen but since I had my first child and entered my 30s I have been breaking out so badly. It is even starting to scar. However much I would love to buy this product I just can't swing the cost. Great giveaway! Thanks :)
ReplyDeleteI would love to win this. I did not have acne as a teenager. But once I got pregnant with my first child, did the hormones ever take over!!! I am almost forty now and am still struggling with acne, 16 years later. I have yet to find anything that works and I am have heard this helps a lot with acne. I have recently been laid off but before that, I had plans to purchase a Clarisonic.
ReplyDeleteI would love to win one of these, I had horrible acne as a teenager and it's gotten better but never really gone away. I also live in las vegas and it's so dry that my skin is constantly flaking, I'm sure the Clarisonic would help with that as well!
ReplyDeleteI have this super sensitive skin and have tried all type of home remedies, latest being Procative, which resulted in the most awful break out. Since then I switched to organic products, however every morning I wake up with a new pimple...this has taken a toll on my self confidence and my social life. I got off scotch free as a teenager, and now as I get closer to my mid-twenties, I break out ALL the time. If I'm not breaking out to almost every cosmetic product I try, then I'm breaking out because of hormones, and as soon as I think my face is clear another zit rears its ugly head. To top it all off I have dry skin, so using any acne cleansers with salycic acid only irritate no further dry my skin! I am so ready to find a solution that won't make my breakouts worse!

ReplyDeleteHi Kristie ,

I used to have a soft, smooth and baby like skin, my friends used to get jealous with me for my lovely skin ;) Nowadays i m suffering from severe White heads problems. donot know wats wrong with my skin lately. its been 4 months now they havenot cured at all. i have been taking medicines along with all precaution measures my dermatologist told me but still no luck . Nothing seems to help. Now i m waiting for some miracles ;( , may be some day my struggle pays off and again i will get my soft and smooth skin like before :)

ReplyDeleteoh my god! i had the worst acne at the end of my pregnancy and then for like a year after I gave birth! It was TERRIBLE! big cystic like zits all along my jawline and hair line! a face framed in zits! no wonder my kid cried all the time, lol!
ReplyDeleteI have had acne since I was a pre-teen. It has basically controlled my life. Things would work for a bit and then stop. It's horrifying to have people walk up to you and say OMG WHAT HAPPENED TO YOUR FACE.....
ReplyDeleteMy acne isn't that bad, but my skin is awful. I have truly combination skin, but it's not just oily here, dry here, it's extremely oily here, extremely dry and patchy, flaky here. I also have large pores, so I sweat very easily and I get shiny within the first few hours of the day. But I have dry patches, so I can't just use a ton of powder or makeup for oily skin, because it dries ou my already dry patches. Exfoliation regularly has been my savior, and a clarsonic would help that greatly.
ReplyDeleteTo put it bluntly, I am in my mid-50's and ever since giving birth to
ReplyDeleteboth of our wonderful sons in my 30's, my hormones and acne have been
worse, than when I was a teenager! I have fallen prey to almost every
kind of skincare line that is available. They may work for awhile and
my face goes right back to being its' old self!
Many thanks for this marvelous opportunity.....

I am in my mid-thirties and am still having breakouts on a weekly basis. I currently have two cysts on my jawline which just won't go away. I have always wanted to try a clarisonic but have had a hard time justifying the cost.

I am in my early 40s, and my skin now looks worse than it ever dreamed of being when I was a teenager! So on top of dealing with acne, I am also struggling with fine lines and wrinkles -- ugh! My skin seems to have difficulty exfoliating, and I think a Clarisonic would be the perfect solution. Thank you for the chance!!
ReplyDeleteI am in my early 20's and mildy suffered with acne throughout highschool. Now since my first child I can not control my face, I wash my face twice a day I do indian clay masks. I exfoliate. I can not catch a break, I'm very good about not touching my face with dirty hands so on and so forth. It all seems impossible. I have wanted to try one of these for a while it's just a bit spendy for a face cleanser that I don't even know will work. I am willing to become a believer.
ReplyDeleteI have very sensitive skin and on top that I have severe adult acne. The Mia Clarisonic would be great for me because I am constantly breaking out. I have heard so much about this product.
ReplyDeleteI must be young at heart because I still get acne like a teenager. I have a 3 month old baby and the hormone rush since giving birth hasn't been pretty. I would love a chance to try something new and hopefully help my poor pox marked face :)
ReplyDeleteThank you for the giveaway. Here's my acne story: I have lived in Colorado for 5 years now and the dry climate has sucked my face free of any moisture. it's so dry that my moisturizers just sit on top of the dry skin and I can't seem to get my skin to clear up. add to that the 35 year old "return of the zits" and it is a combo for disaster. Yikes!!!
ReplyDeleteI love your reviews on beauty products (the love notes make me bust up) and this one really got my attention.
As a young 28 old year old lady living in lovely Columbus, Ohio :) I work 12 hour days in a hospital and after every shift my face in as greasy and oily as grandma's old skillet - unforturnately on some days I don't even have time to use the restroom when I need to let alone wash my face or use a face wipe quickly while on shift. This leaves me with zit balls on my face that like to stick around for days on end. Please help!

ReplyDeleteWell, my acne story pretty much lasts my whole life, because ever since I was a kid I have been struggling with this issue (and I'm approaching the big 30!) I've tried pretty much everything I can think of - various cleansers and treatments, moisturizer, no moisturizer, moisturizer on only certain areas of my face, oil-free, natural, non-natural, etc. etc. etc. :-) I would love to try this, I've heard such great things! My face, and all the people that have to look at my face, thank you for considering my entry in this giveaway! :-)

I re-experienced acne when I hit my fifties and menopause. I couldn't have made it through without my Mia. I would like to win one for my daughter-in-law
ReplyDeleteCynthia.Richardson@azbar.org
before baby #3, i worked in the skincare world, in the retail side of things. i worked for mostly 1 company, but had exposure to many many lines and products.
ReplyDeletebeing pregnant throws my face/acne/oil production WAY out of wack. enter: pores filled with some nAsty stuff. i was able to use a clarisonic on loan for 2 weeks. what a difference. not only was my oil producing machine face totally slowed down, my pores were noticeably smaller, due to lack of goo in them. it's been on my i'll-be-so-good-and-never-ask-for-anything-again list since my baby girl was born in july.
perhaps i should have had my husband use it too. i'm sure he would have been sold.
I would love to try this! I've always had issues with acne. I can't find anything to totally clear it up. And now that I'm in my 30s it just doesn't seem right to have to deal with wrinkles and acne at the same time! :)
ReplyDeleteBoth of my parents have terrible adult acne. I'm pretty much screwed...it would still be nice to try though!
ReplyDeletedumblegirl@gmail.com
I feel like my face reflects the state of my life. Lot of hardship & stress, nagging pains that won't leave me alone even though I try hard not to mess with them. lol. I miss feeling pretty.
ReplyDeleteI remember caking on the concealer because I would try to hide my zits as much as possible that I would have light spots all over my face. I remember a few guys making comments about it and I felt so dumb. I wish I never had to go through this. amypugmire@live.com
ReplyDeleteI didn't really have a difficult time with acne during my teens and early 20s, but when I had my daughter, that's when I started to experience some adult acne. Luckily, it wasn't too severe but I definitely had to stay on top of my skincare routine. I also just recently found out that I had a thyroid problem, so the changes in my hormones didn't make things any better. After a few tries with different skincare products, I'm finally starting to see progress, but I'm still having trouble with blackheads around the nose area. Needless to say, winning this giveaway would be great!
