Messy Bun How To

it's like Cher says in Clueless, "She's a full on Monet. From far away it's okay but up close it's a big ol' mess."

the story of my life.

the Messy Bun How To:

hairstyles like the messy hair bun are extremely simple to achieve, just don't look too close because they aren't necessarily pretty. for pretty, i would recommend 30 minutes and stylist. oh wait, you don't have any either of those things available? neither do i.

i like to think of myself as low maintenance however the Tman may disagree. i typically don't have more than 5-10 minutes to spend on my hair daily so easy hair styles/tutorials are a must. the messy bun how to, well, it doesn't get much easier than that.

am i embarrassed to say it was motivated by Snooki's 'post baby' hairstyle? a little. is it true? yes.

  1. lovely but you have to manage the front side of the hair, above your forehead, it's the hardest part. I'll be happy if you check out my new post too=)

  2. These hairstyles look much better when I have a little bit of texture in my hair! For a while I used to use a curling iron to rough up my hair so it would stay in a bun like this, but now I use Osis Dust It! Works like a heatless charm =)
