Ombre Nails

i saw this version of Ombre Nails in a magazine a while back and have been wanting to do this tutorial for you. i thought it was a cute play on the Ombre trend so i decided to give it a shot.

for this tutorial you will need:

  • five shades of gradient color. Ombre is when color transitions from dark to light. you can be as creative as you'd like for this. i am using my China Glaze 3D glitters as well as the Let It Snow collection.

  • Seche Vite Top Coat. you know i don't do anything without Seche Vite. if you haven't heard/read me rave about it, check out my review here.

this technique is so simple but the payoff is gorgeous. simply paint each nail with your color gradient of choice. finish with the Seche Vite top coat and you have yourself some Ombre Nails. i'm really diggin' this look.

  1. That's so creative! I've seen where they do the entire ombre range on each nail, but that is just way too complicated for me!

  2. I love the ombre trend! I tried this before with pinks and reds, but the colors just were slightly off. I think the sparklies would be so fun!
